Young Professional Travel Grants
IEEE NPSS is providing financial support for early-career scientists and engineers (S&Es) to attend PPPS 2025. Eligibility for candidates to receive the support as follows:
The applicant must be an IEEE NPSS member and be the first author on an accepted abstract, and must qualify as a young professional, who received his/her final graduate degree within the last ten years, or no earlier than May 2015.
Young professionals must be full time employed in an industrial or academic institution. Graduate students are not eligible for this support. (Instead, please consider applying for student travel grant.)
The travel support (up to 2000 € each) will be used to reimburse lodging at the conference Hotel Estrel and conference registration fee. Priorities are given to early-career S&Es who otherwise do not have enough travel support to attend the conference.
To apply, please submit the following information in ONE single PDF document in an email to info ∂does-not-exist.ppps2025-kit edu with a subject "PPPS 2025 Travel Grant for Young Professionals" before April 15, 2025:
• A brief CV that includes your degrees and dates, current affiliation, title/position
• Your accepted abstract with paper number, and the entire abstract including authors and affiliations
• One recommendation/reference letter from your immediate supervisor, employer or equivalent
We encourage all international participants who have submitted and new submissions to apply for the IEEE NPSS Travel Grant for Young professionals.
